snook fishin for BBQ FAIL

Tommy asked for some fresh fish and seeing how my holy grail rod trip was rescheduled. thought id fish to cheer up and provide some fresh fish.
headed out around 8 pm packed up 2 rods rode down to my boy at bite me bait shack picked a 6 pack of flare hawks.
this was a hell of a battle, had drag so tight about pulled me in, lost my footing on the rocks,snook jumped like a tarpoon. then on realese i was crouched down holding tail when she surged to escape. leaving behind a wake that splashed up between my legs. soaked
that was over slot at about 40"
this one short @ 25"
so came home empty handed but great couple hrs
now sleep for couple hrs,, see yall at BBQ
