I've only fished 3 places down here. Black point, Ocean Reef next to this bridge, and ch. 2 Islamorada.

I've only one type of fish, I tried putting a pic of it but its too big. It's silver with bluish yellowish horizontal lines on the face but they are about 5 or 6" and swim in schools. And the ugly toadfish I think it's name is. I'm sure you can catch some good fish in ch. 2 and possibly black point (shoreline), but I'm sort of tired of going to these places and not really catching any keepers.

I'd like to try a new spot where you can actually see the fish or a nice deep place where the pier/bridge isn't as high as ch. 2 or even a lake or canal or just somewhere new that I can try. Anyone know any other good places?

The farthest south I'm willing to go is Islamorada and the farthest north would be miami. Anything farther than that would be too far a drive just for a few hrs of fishing.

My suggestion would be hit Google Maps and you will find places that may not be over fished, Bill Baggs park also the inlet.

Also many of those smaller bridges on the way to Channel two can produce nice fish

I have been on google maps. I'm just not sure if any place with water is fishable. I was looking for places with names like channel 2, 5, black point etc... Since I know you can actually fish them. I'll keep an eye out for places where I see a fisherman or 2 so I know you can fish there.
