Haven't hit the beach in a few weeks. That said, you like fishing from the beach try MacArthur State Park on Singer Island just north of Palm Beach. Take the Blue Heron bridge and head north. It costs $5 to enter but has a nice natural beach, a reef within casting range and great swimming in addition to fishing. From 10am til 4pm they even have a shuttle to the beach.

By the way, what is the cost for the shuttle to the beach? And do I need a long rod to cast out for distance? and what would be ideal rod length? 12foot? Bait?
