Lake Worth Pier/Beach

Been swimming/snorkeling by the Lake Worth Pier the last four days of 2011. Either side of the pier, saw lots of Whitefish and Snook, sometimes groups of Snook 7-10 strong. So I decided to go down to the beach and go for it after the guards left. No bites though. Also tried the Blue Heron bridge yesterday, again, just small stuff and annoying Parrot Fish. People gettin' mad at me for throwin' back the Parrot Fish (??). Not sure what's gonna happen after this nasty cold front passes, really want to get down to the Keys for some better fishin. Sorry, nothing exciting here.

They wanted me to give them the parrot fish we accidentally caught, guess they wanted to eat them. I don't like to keep any non game fish, especially beautiful fish worthy of an aquarium (better off in the ocean!)

Thanks for the report.
You should wait for warmer weather if going to the keys, at least until next week.
