Went out 4am Sat till 4pm Sat. Macs- a few in the surf, bait everywhere then the jacks started pounding through and we landed a few on lures and some came up on bottom rigs. Kept baiting fresh livies for bottom rigs and landed a few nurse sharks. No Emily but kept the lines wet and enjoyed the scenery, saw a guy fishing his red worms on a bobber and another one petting a shark on the deck

Even though the tropical storm was a complete bust many of us decided to still go to the pier on Saturday and hope for the little rain bands to bring some snappers in. We started off slow and Ron and Ricky started working the mangroves under the pier, they could have had their limit if they kept all the 10.5 inch snappers they caught, but they only kept the bigger ones. Nelson got his mutton and had a nice hookup with a tarpon. Ricky and I lost two nice hits with what we believe were some muttons with shoulders on them. I also lost a small cuda and a spoon. I ended with a dog snapper, a mutton, and a jack crevale. As always was great to fish with the crew

I left my bait/filet knife at the pier on the bait table just east of the hut.

Was it a white with some blue trim to the end knife?

We saw one including bait at the "T" on the North East Corner. Not sure who took it or if it is still there.

That one with a white handle stayed there, the Asian guy was using it too. It was the community's bait knife. Man I tell you, that's why I carry my knife on my belt, I always forget them somewhere or drop them somewhere.
