Boatless Fishing Forum, Reports, Info

Fished a few hours yesterday. Barely any current out on the reef, so pushed out deeper. Had a real good bite for a couple hours. Missed some real nice fish, but landed a nice black and abunch of big porgies. Back at the ramp by 1. Beautiful summer day, but hot as hell.

Thanks guys, I always have the GoPro on the boat, but it's rarely on when the fish bite, it was nice to actually get it on camera.

Yall might call me crazy, but i dont like fishing when its that calm...at least a 2-3 ft chop..especially at night..

For the most part I agree that a little chop can be good for fishing, but I ain't mad at a flat day that lets me cruise around at 30mph all day.

The weed patches were all over. We checked a few out as well as some random derbis floating around but nothing on them.
