Went out from 7AM till about 5:30 pm. Not too much luck. I brought out my new vertical jigging setup and got a 10lb Bonita on my first drop in about 150 ft. Then a slightly smaller one on my second drop. Trolled for Mahi with no luck. Then drifted live bait/jigged. I got cut off 4 times ( losing all my vertical jggs), probably Kings. And I landed one small Almaco Jack on a King Jig. My fried also landed one Bonita on a live pilchard. Moral of the story: I need more jigs.
Here's some pics.

Water looks nice. Was there any current?

Yeah, at some points it was very strong. I couldn't keep the jig vertical. But then it slacked off a little as the day went on.

Bonita are fun when jigging. The only thing I hate is the risk of losing a jig on them. Wait till u get a hooooo hold on!
