fished yesterday in the afternoon with rick and josh on the boat we caught bonnies like crazy on vertical jigs rick showed us how its done, then we headed to my secret yellow tail spot and did some damage also caught 2 ceros that rick took home to eat. btw the bonnies in the pick are not going to waste me and josh are going to bimini this month and needed some bait

Nice haul and good to see that you practiced what you fought so much against "vertical jigs". They are fun to an extent. Bimini has been quiet lately but there are some nice fish still left. If Westend is not too far for that boat, it would be better.

you must have one heck of a yellow tail spot to get through those bonita. this is what i got yesterday! not half as good as yours.

Thanks guys cudaman I nvr said I hate vertical jigging I always drop a jig a few times while drifting with king baits just vertical jigging is not my favorite thing to do, its a good technique to do as the boat is pulling up to a spot that's usually when I do it

Some people don't like it so much because it's a lot of work, but how you said it that's the way it should be done if not fully jigging. Good luck in Bimini.
Nice haul there too sn00kslayer.
