Went out on the Iron man Reward trip yesterday after doing the late night trip on the Sealegs Friday night. Caught a nice mutton Friday night and headed out again in the morning. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep this weekend. We left the dock at 430am. I went straight for the carpet to get some shuteye for a hour and half. We were headed to the upper Keys. I awoke to the buzzing of the trolling gear. It must have been a little past six ,the sun was just coming up. Dolphin were hitting the trolling lures. It seemed every time we took off the lures where getting slammed every ten minutes or so. Nice way to start the morning! The live well was packed with live Herring, pilchards and Pinfish. This kid on the boat caught some nice fish, Two Yellowjacks ,African Pompano, triggers, and Vermillion among other species. He was catching them on a lure (a Point Wilson Dart). I got to get some of those lures! It was used like a light vertical jig when on the bottom. Cranked like a spoon and even trolled. It was very productive. As the day went on lot's of Kings, Muttons, Blackfins including one that was 25 pounds. A short grouper, Sailfish on a kite. Even a 7ft tiger shark was caught and released. Vertical jigging wasn't so hot. I managed a 25lb king on the Vertical but that was about it. Adam caught a short Gag on the vertical jig. Long day but a great time. Captain Wayne is a great Captain and always very accommodating. Little Chris was the mate and very cool. I didn't get a chance to charge my camera the night before so it went dead after a few hours of the trip but here is a video of the morning mahi-mahi .

It looks like it was a real nice trip and looks like you are having fun with the video editing too
Thanks Herb. Getting better with the video all courtesy of Youtube/editor. Best part of youtube/editor is the fact that it's FREE! Just wish I had some battery life on my camera but...this Sunday I'll have backup battery. With you there on Sunday maybe there will be two videos!!!!
