2/5 Crystal River

Today me and 2 friends from work decided to go looking for redfish in the creeks and points since the weather was suppose to be pretty good. We started out fishing points in the river that had exposed rocks or oyster bars. Had a few small ones but nothing really great so we decide to catch a dozen or so pinfish and head for the creeks.






The first few fish came about an hour before high tide.














Here’s one of them tournament models. 26.5” on the pinch.






The bite stayed steady until an hour after high tide. Bait of choice today was pinfish for the reds and shrimp for the trout and sheepshead. We got the buy 1 get 1 free special.
