Really nice day out there.
Was going after pompano but they are not here yet. Instead found the school of macks and got 2 people limits in about 45mins. The mack are skinny!
At first we could see a mack here and there but was not catching them at all. We know the mack are around because we got a report that the day before they were killing it. With a little moving around we found the school and just limited out with spoons.

Since we also bought some shrimp bait... 5 dozen, we used it on sheephead and got 3 keepers. I also got a nice flounder on my pompano jig. All in all a great day!

Nice catch I can't wait to hit the pier. Which side is best north or south side?

Fish was on the south side but there is no such side that is better than the other. It might be for certain species but then again it depends on the day as well. Keep moving until you find the mack.

Might be able to meet you on the 6th... I work the rest of the week. You can get some shrimp on both pier. I heard the north side gives stupid amount of shrimp. ask for a dozen.. he might give you 1.5 dozen or something.

There are a few bait shop around if you don't want to get the shrimp there. O'neil and teria ciea bait shop. As for crabs... hard to tell with this season. If it is warm enough they might have some. You can go catch some yourself but using shrimp is probably easier.
