This Saturday (19th) - Bass Fishing

Post by Bluefish in ny »

If the weather does what is forecasted to do this Saturday, some big bass should be caught. Pre-Front conditions, warmer water temps (in the past week or so), 3 or so days prior to a Full Moon... I am heading to Broward and going to throw some big baits in search of spawning fish... not necessarily on the beds, but females eating. For the past 8 or so years fishing here, my biggest largemouth typically come from the 2nd week in January to the 2nd week in March. Big worms (10"), Lizards, Large Floating Rapalas, and shhh Flappin Shads in white/pepper will be my arsenal.
