momma peacocks

Do peacocks return to there nests after catching and releasing them or do they abandon their young?

they return almost as soon as i release them.

Most of the time they do, however there is not much sport IMHO is dropping a trebble on a nest and reeling it up.


...not saying that is what you are doing, but I persoanlly tend to leave the nesters alone - They are far more important undisturbed that in a picture to show....


But ya usually thgey do come back....I just worry about how many eggs ore getting eaten while I fight and unhook her. Just My .02
