Killin' Time - Lakewood Ranch

When time or friggin' wind does not allow me to go to the salt... I have been hitting the ponds off of LWR Blvd. Yesterday, despite the howling winds, I walked the banks throwing Storm Shads. Got this little pup to hit!

I've got more good sized fish here in the past 2 months than I have in 2 years on the other side (East).

Nice. My mom recently retired and bought a house in Lakewood Ranch, I've been going over there about once a month. The lakes definitely seem fishy, they've pulled a couple big gators out from the one behind her house.
