30 bass in 2 hours

Post by penn-reel-ryan »

i was up in boytan beach fishing in a backyard lake and it was abosolutey insane. for every 2-3 casts i had a bass on. i had at least 50 on if not more. a guy was standing right next to me throwing a top water and he was getting less fish but they were bigger. all together we had to have 75-85 fish on in truth be told 2 hours. in this weather last year my dad went to the same lake and caught 20. i think it has something to do with the weather but if anyone knows why i couldnt catch a bass to save my life for the past 3 months and now i cant keep one from hitting please let me know.

I went back this past weekend and using the same set up I broke a personal record. I caught 40 or more I lost count. I'm still in shock or it's the sunburn but it's amazing.

Penn... We are prob fishing the same areas... I am in Boynton, and fish out off Gateway and Jog, pretty much within a 2 mile radius.
