Surf fishing South Beach

Does anyone know the rule for surf fishing in this location? I read Fort Lauderdale Beach is 6 PM - 8 AM. Is it similar for South Beach? Thanks

Lifeguards will enforce the city code, and tell you not to fish in the designated "swim areas". That's within 100 yards of any lifeguard tower, which makes all off SoBe unfishable from around 9:30am- 6pm while lifeguards are there.
