Sick tarpon action the last few days (Miami Beach)

The 5th street honey hole is still producing tarpon in good numbers. Most are out of range of the beach, but I have seen em rolling at first light in the breakers. Still using the hand line, it's a lot harder to stay tight on a jumping tarpon and not too tight that you pull hooks. Could have landed at least 6-8 more tarpon if I was using a pole. Bait used was a live mullet as always, tarpon candy!!!

there is a place off north lake in wpb that rents them. if your interested im down to rent with and bring some light spinning gear and hit some spots I have
