Good job on the Muttons.
The Judge asked the prostitute, "At what point did you realize you were raped?"
The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."

ROB: LOL about your question on "did the swells bother us". The answer is "only at the very end of the trip". We actually dumped on the way in. I think our timing was exceptionally bad/unlucky because looking back at the ocean after we collected our gear and our pride, we noticed that at times there were no swells, then other times they were huge. We're both pretty experienced whitewater kayakists and those breakers were big! They must have been from the tail end of Hurricaine Bill. Take care, see you at the pier! Dan.

Nice Mutts.....
I bet those whitewater kayaks are much more nimble than the tandem.....
Ironic about dumping on the way in.....First time I ever dumped was on a calm day like in the pic....good swell came in and swept the tail out from behind me while crossing over the sandbar....next one dumped me brfore I could straighten out. I was lucky enough to be shallow enough to retrieve all my gear. Breaking down the reels ALL the way to clean em was a real drag.....
I really learned the value of making sure I approached-landed perpandicular to the break and not the shoreline. I have a pal that does a backwards entry in rough water everytime and swears by it....I'm too chicken to try it with gear.....lol
