So ive never really gone kayak fishing before but my buddy has paddled out a couple times so we are thinking about going for a paddle Friday AM somewhere within reasonable distance from Islamorada. I know most people will have work but for some odd reason my company has given us the extra long weekend, so Im heading down. I really want to learn so this is really cool.4
So if anyone is interested in goin out Friday AM, let me know. We will prob already be down there Thurs night.

If u litsen to me carefully u will have a ton of fun...
ULTRA light tackle... live shrimp, 5ish in the morning at Annes beach, get in the yak and cruise the channels... U will see tails ALL OVER... some AWESOME bonefishing and ull be able to sneak right up to them with the Yak.
Lookout for the Bulls and the big tarpons, Ive even seen a wild dolphin there one time... apparently they like eating the bonies.
Anyway... Good luck, I was wading and had shot after shot after shot at fish... u should do well...
