Hello all,
Longtime lurker first time poster. Need some help catching my first bonefish from the yak, preferably in Biscayne Bay. I have the tackle down just looking for recommendations on where to head to. Thanks in advance and for your help.

Re: Bonefish help
Matheson Hammock, Black Point or Crandon Marina would all be good places to start...all have access to flats that hold bonefish that are within a relatively short paddle.

Thanks for the info...ended up paddling off hbfp, saw a few tailing at near low tide but no catches. Gonna try some of the spots you recommended next

Re: Bonefish help
If you saw tailers, stay on them... Bones are not as easy as some make it look.
Did you launch at hbfp marina/parking lot or at Convoy ?
