West coast report

Got to the dock at 630 and the captain was waiting. We headed out to Ruff seas 2-4 and windy. We got about 25 miles out and setup. It was non stop all day action. Between huge gags that had to be thrown back and the 19.5 red grouper we managed 3 keepers grouper a bunch of Grover's, lanes and grunts. Due To it being so ruff the capt decided to ask if we can do a 8 hour and only charge for a 6. Not a problem since myself and 2 others were chumming..... We're at coconut jacks now eating than heading home. These are the few pics I got

It was bitter sweet catching them. We had a great time.


I'm putting together a red snapper grouper trip for first week of July (opening week). Trip will be 24 hours and 1800 split between 6 guys

How far out is the ride to the fishing grounds... I have one trip pending in July. If that's a no go & there is still room I might do this one.

70 miles it leaves friday around 5-6 pm chuggs there over night and fishing all day sat.

its double bag limit being 2 captains are going to be on board as well
