So I am back from my travels in Collier and as I have some difficulty to adjust back to the CET timezone
I am still up at 0400 in the morning so why not do something productive.

Fishing was difficult this year for me as I missed the snook on the beach, I had quite a few slow
days at the beach.
From the locals I spoke I figured they also had a difficult year so maybe it was not just me.
Having said that I finally got my first decent redfish from the beach, hooked 3 and finally landed
one of them.
Also caught a lot of different and new species for me which made it all pretty interesting:

Some great pictures there and great catches on flies. I've never seen a gaff sail caught on fly before.

Fantastic photos. Fishing might not have been exactly what you planned for but you caught and saw alot.

I really like some of the photos so I have to ask, what type of camera and lens did you use?

Canon PowerShot SX240 HS + Nikon D3100.
The powershot was used for zoom actions like
the wildlife. The Nikon was used for the rest, was
fitted with the kit-lens 18-55 plus a polarizing filter.
