spoke to my uncle in naples and inquired about a offshore jigging trip. He said his buddy out if fish tale marina could handle the trip. the captains name is Phil Pica its a 6 hour trip 20 miles out for grouper and other assorted fish. the cost would be 100 per person plus tip. I would drive us all out in my truck if that works. no dates are set in stone yet so please lmk its 4 person max so need 3 people

If Adam and Ed don't mind then set it up for the 27th. If I am out of the country I have a backup replacement guaranteed. I just text them.

Yeah I'm down I can make it work, my friend will just have to entertain themselves for the day.

Update my uncles buddy said he can hook us up with the 8 hour trip for 500 bucks. So figure 150 a person with tip. He normal dies 5 hours for 590 so it's a decent deal. We can jig live bait fish anything we want for 8 solid hours

Kewl, don't laugh but I will bring a home made crab imitation blue serving spoon jig and my home made butter knife jigs. I hope the permit like metal, it would be awesome to catch one on a jig, well spoon in this case.

Might be a day of assorted fishing. There is a restaurant at the Marina that cooks your catch as well so something to think about be we head home.

Final tally 3 cobia 4 snappers 2 permits 2 gags. And a over 100 pound Goliath. We got some other fish but they were short. Pics soon
