So, the wife caught 1 lady & 1 kitty. But, there was a MASSIVE redfish cruising the pier in the 4'+ range. Wouldn't take anything thrown at it for 25-30 minutes. We think it was sick or something. Thought about castnetting it (which IS legal) but changed our minds. Then our friend Jeff (adult) got in a fish fight with a 4 year old, using ladyfish for swords & throwing threadfins at eachother for a good half hour ! It was friggin' hysterical ! It may not have been a great fishing day, but between the red & fishfight, it ended the day Great. Well, off to the pier tomorrow at daylight....

Some people build bridges. Some people fish off the bridges. Some people burn their bridges. Others should just be pushed off the bridge.
Caught by hand.

It dangerous when the fish aren't biting. I too have indulged in a good fish fight.

I went out after the storm on 6/26. Fished from 10pm to 3am. Trout, small hammerhead, small ray, umpteen catfish. Not a bad night, until the mosquitoes moved in and we had to run for our lives!
