Went on Sunday, from sunrise to sunset. Too windy, a decent school of mutton came through getting chased by Mackerel but left very soon. Saw a few Macks caught, few Bluefish.
There was about 6 foot hammerhead that swam by, and a shark fishermen on the pier using Mackerel as bait, took his bait and left.
Pretty slow day.

Decided to come here instead of driving down to Keys(felt lazy). Was using Trolleys with live mojarra, no luck at all. Bait was steady, no bites for anyone as well.
Pretty large school of Tarpon too. Guess I got what I deserve for being lazy.

Are you using trolley rigs now? That is a long way from seeing mutton schools being chased by macs

It corrected itself from mullet to mutton. Couldn't be bothered to log onto a computer and edit it. Thanks for catching it though. Your grammatical report was very insightful.

Das there yesterday and today from about 6 am till 930am both days. Bait was all over the place.

An older guy this morning hooked a large tarpon. We tried to land it but no one had a net and it popped the hook after a long fight.

On a side note, people really trash the place overnight. Old boxes of bait, plastic bags, and leftover bait all over the place.

Struck out again this morning. Tons of bait as usual. Not many big fish swimming around. Sting ray decided to take my bait and swim under the pier with it. Broke my line lol

Outside of fall-winter-spring fishing, that place sucks. Youre better off fishing the jetty

Fished the pier in the am hours a few days ago when it was blowing 20+kts from the SE. Lots of bluefish in the 2-4lb range. There was also some pompano being caught if you had fleas. There was also lots of nice sized pilchards at the T readily caught by sabiki. No mackerel though; maybe the water was too dirty. I ended up with a couple blues myself.
