Was out there early today, caught a needlefish on shrimp. No action on the lures.

Was out there yesterday with my gf, cousin, and friends. We caught lots of blue runners, 2 muttons (short), mid size lanes, and one stingray. I left the best for last. I caught this spanish mackerel ( 18.5" ) on shrimp.

One last thing I want to ask every fishermen to do is..... PLEASE DISPOSE OF YOUR FISHING HOOKS PROPERLY!!!!!! Yesterday my friend's son ( 6 yrs old ) got a 4/0 or 5/0 hook stuck in his leg while walking through the grass. I have never heard someone scream so loud in my life! There's no need to toss hooks on the floor with multiple trash cans around. You can only imagine what I wish the person who tossed the hook!!!

Nice job dude. Sneakers are the only way to go when fishing. I've had too many close calls with hooks/glass.

Nice catch and starting to pay off :toast:

Got to wear shoes or air jordan sandals when you are out there. ...Hope the little guy feels better. For good measure should go to his Doc and maybe get a tetanus shot to be on the safe side

Was out there yesterday with my cousin and Let's Go Fishing South Florida and his crew (really cool and nice people.) It was cuda city! Haven't seen that many cudas around in a long time. It was one after the other. One cool thing that shocked me was on my first cuda as I was reeling it in towards the dock a huge Goliath grouper came out and tried to eat it! Here are the video highlights of the day.

Nice vid..most ppl that fish the park would gladly accept the cudas for the action they provide and are of good table fare...but i see you have high expectations for fishing the park...lol...but love your reports and vids!

Thanks man! Don't get me wrong, when I hear that drag sing it puts a smile on my face. lol They do give a good fight and taste good too (I ate one before) but I'm not going to risk it (ciguatera.) I was just hoping for something else. That's all that seemed to be biting that day, at least for me. Thanks once again! :toast:

I went fishing by myself on Christmas Eve at Bill Baggs. I wanted to try a new spot, the seawall at Baggs. I ended up catching a black Margate 15.5" and a Mutton snapper 12". Also, the guys next to me caught a Bonnethead shark that I released for them. Here are the video highlights of the day.
