How to smoke fish without a smoker just any charcoal grill and some basic supplies for cheap. Works great for mac's bluefish and anything else. I don't like fishiness or any fish more than a day old this is good. Makes for great dip

Link isnt working for me...however i am assuming bank the charcoal on one side use some bricks to hold them in place indirect heat works with ribs...shoulders...brisket..pork chops etc..qorks best with weber kettle

I put the charcoal on one side let it cool down water in a tin metal disposable cake pan and soaked woodchips

Yea thats about how i do it ive done 10 hour cooks before using this method.

Nice article. I haven't had smoked blues in years. Used to be a regular thing growing up during the blue fish runs in the fall.

All you have to do is brine it like I did dry it and smoke according to the instructions of your smoker differing if it's coal or gas or electric

Jares what temp do you smoke fish at?

i start around 200ish for the first hour or two and then go down a little to around 150 for the last hour

See now I thought rolling papers or a bong was involved.
