Got my hands on a couple Red Grouper over the weekend. Any favorite recipes out there?
Anybody have a good "blakened spice blend" they like, who makes it, where did you buy it from?

I like the Zatarains blackened seasoning.
Red grouper is good just about any way, broiled with a little seasoning and butter, cut into fingers and fried, blackened, grilled, etc,etc...

Rory - Is it the Zatarain's "Creole Seasoning" in the green shaker? Or do they make a "Blackened" seasoning? Went looking for it today at Publix and all I saw was the Creole

Geeze the grocery stores around here suck. I went to two different Publix and a Winn-Dixie this morning, none of them had the Everglades Heat or the Zatarains Blackened.

That's my issue too, the S&H makes it $$$$. Then again, how much gas did I burn up this morning looking for the other stuff...that I never found.

I'll look for it next time I'm down there.
