speckled crabs???

I sometimes catch rather large speckled crabs when surf fishing, no not calico crabs, I know blue crabs taste wonderful but what about speckled crabs? has anyone ever tried them I heard they taste good too, but im not sureImage

Speckle Crabs is what south Florida call Calico and I don't know why.

Yes They are Better than Blue Crabs, Very Clean just do not get as large as the Blue.

One way they are very good is a touch of Salt, Pepper and boiled with some Coconut milk.
