Great seasoning for deep fry

Post by JackJack »

I just got a great tip fom a friend, Goya brand Adobo seasoning powder with pepper in it makes a great addition to flour for kingfish. We usd it after dunking chunked kingfish in milk, then dip in a mixture of adobo and flour, deep fried. Tastes like kentucky fried chicken with fish. Easy and delicious!

He is talking about the texture of the crunch from frying it. I at least hope so.
The Judge asked the prostitute, "At what point did you realize you were raped?"
The prostitute replied (wiping away tears), "When the check bounced."

Yup, texture is similar to the tenderest chicken, however if you want only fish taste, boil it. Remove lemon, salt, and pepper. just boil it, no frying in oil either.

Sorry for the sarcasm, but I enjoy fish for being fish too.

You boil your fish? Or you meant to say poached your fish. If you boil them I have to say ewwwwwww.

I'm just replying to Rijkaard who like most of us like fish for being fish, but I'm just making the point that everybody likes fish with something, even if its just salt. Adobo seasoning makes a great batter for deep frying fish. Just had some deep fried kingfish in Adobo tonight in fact!

Try it you'll like it.

Thanks for the great boiled recipe! You think it would work for Cobia? I brought some home last week.
