William used the shark rod about 4 hours for slow jigging...and caught several fishes while bait fishing didn't produce much.
But he used my shark rod.
Slow jigging at deep bottom water (400~500ft) was more effective than bait fishing.
It was eye opening for me...

Awesome stuff

I can only go for cod and halbut this october in the cold north and east sea and except for the halbut it is basically just reeling in so I was told.

Nothing to compare with that

Tonight was grilled teriyaki wahoo and tuna kabobs with grilled pineapple and cucumber salad. I also got a group photo of the trip from my phone.

Great story and pictures Herb. You really set up a great overall trip. :toast: It was nice meeting some new guys and learning some more about jigging.
