QUESTION : Do the Captains of Catch my Drift and Sea Legs know how to find fish on their own? Or do they enjoy acting like GOOGANS?!!!!

The reason I ask this is because they have a very good habit of running through another boaters Chumslick, then anchoring up right next to that boater, and when they leave they wake them, and sometimes Ive had them run in circles around us.

I realize they have to make a living, but if they are charter boat captains and consider themselves fisherman, act like it. Instead of a Googan.

On another note I have nothing bad to say about the Flamingo. The Captain is a RESPECTABLE FISHERMAN!

I went on the Flamingo a while back and I caught the captain going thru my tackle bag and cooler. When I asked what he was doing he said I could not take my own bait knife on the boat and then proceded to question what I had in a pepsi bottle. (that was unopened) He did not believe that I really had pepsi in there.

CMD- They put the Party in Party boat. Not sure about the fish but there is alot of drinking going on!

Sea Legs- :thumright:

That sucks. I have run into numerous problems like the sea legs and catch my drift. But what I don't get is why practically everyone hates the commercial fishermen. Ive NEVER had a problem with them. One year while I was fishing for pompano on dania pier I met two commercial guys. The first with 12'+ yellow rods, and the other with a ponytail who used to work there. I don't remember too much about them, but what I do is they were very polite and the were catching a ton of fish. They knew how to fish and on the rare occasion they cast over someone else they would move. That was definitely the opposite case for everyone else, and I wound up losing a ton of fish and tackle.
