LOL, yeah I know, but it really does hurt the small guys trying to make a buck when people realize that just about anything does work and makes them think that they don't have to buy high end stuff. But unless you have a lot of elbow grease or a good machine to make the holes on those knives, I see most people buying the Jigs and not building them.
