I'm trying to organize a 6 man trip on Fish Quest Charters, I had two people that can't make it now so I'm trying to fill two spaces.

I have spoken to Captain Paul a couple times he seems like a real nice guy.

I have also asked around and hear great reviews from people who have fished with him including Lou from bass pro.

The boat is departing Friday Oct 7th 2011. Departing at 10am we can leave earlier if we wish.
Boat will return Sunday afternoon.

I have spoken to the captain and I asked if maybe Thursday night we could stay on the boat and he said that would be fine. I said I would give him extra at the end of the trip if we used this.

The price is $500 per person with deposit of $250 due asap.

He has also offered us an extra 24 hours fishing for $66 per person if we want to leave Thursday.

If you have any questions send me a PM or reply to this Topic.

Thanks.

So Far the trip is myself and 3 friends from Sea Legs.

Never fished down there in November does anyone have any experience?

I was on the Yankee during Thanksgiving. Muttons were on fire! I want in if you have space.

Nov is usually very good, I did one two seasons ago with yuri. As long as weather is good, you should do great. My personal preference is May- Oct. Good luck on the trip, my iron man was cancelled as well, trying to reschedule for later this month.

Well, someone backed out on this time and I"m in!

I'm getting all my gear ready. I bought a new Penn 8000 with 50# braid and of course I will be using my usual Tortugas gear. I have a guy who makes lead weights and will be making an order soon. Anyone need weights?

If by right around the corner you mean Ricky is in the stern corner of Yuri's boat as we type then yes right around the corner  They are all out right now.

Anyone with experience in dry Tortuga's with these conditions?

Yeap! If weather is good go on the Sealegs and fish for them with gog sabikis while you try for night kingfish. Start at the top the try mid and then try near the bottom. If no time to go on the boat then try Anglins pier they might be there. If not try this guy he says he has gogs and ballyhoo cheap 754-2730160. Never dealt with him but says he gets them. Also try and see if you can catch blue runners.
