Im looking to sell my spot on this boatless fishing yuri trip.

If anyone is interested the cost is $600.00
$250 upfront to me to cover my deposit, and $350 due at departure.

Reason due to financial, I finished my AA classes and have a year and half waiting list before I start Nursing school. My income will be cut about $1500.00 per month, with that comes sacrifices.

Wife started to work, and i'm the new stay home mommy. Last year I had a trip on the YC that came back because of weather, instead of issuing a refund they gave me a $250 credit.

If I can get this $250 deposit back I can fish for free, basically. If I don't, I wont be able to fish at all for the season as I won't be able to afford either trip.

BTW, if anyone runs into Paulieboy aka Beachbum, at BPS let him know he still owes me $350.00 for selling my custom 14/0 shark combo. Thats what we settled with over the phone before he stopped answering my phone calls...

I originally bought it from Zach, Rebel for $350, but the total price I put in is over $460, and never hooked a fish with it before Paul "borrowed" it.

Short story goes, he got rid of his old cell number 3 years back because all of his friends were trying to keep him away from a girl at the time we thought was (crazy), but hes in-love with her. He moved away to Orlando and didn't keep contact with any of us, I'm assuming this is where he sold it. Then he moved back to Fort Lauderdale about the same time I moved away myself to start my own family in Orlando. Housing is cheaper up here.
It should be $440.+ actually because I had to get the reel cleaned and lubed, and drag washers cleaned by Rick at Anglers Bait and Tackle $30.00, and the reel respooled with 800 yards of 130lb momoi at BPS.

We settled for $350 and id like to get that back. I know many of you still shop at BPS and probably see Paul in a regular basis.

That sucks David, don't worry about your spot, we take care of it

what about Jorge, is he still in?

it's not that big of a front, lower temps in the low 70's and seas subsiding starting from thursday, it will be a lil bumpy the first day, but hopefully we'll be ok

Hopefully the worst would be that we loose that extra half day of fishing and we set sail on Friday rather than Thursday. I will still go catch some bait.

Nelson, I will be available tomorrow morning if you are up for it. I can fish sunrise till 8:30am. And i told Rob not to Jinx it, LOL

Herb, if we set sail thursday night it will be already down to 4 to 6 inside rebecca's shoals (basically small seas for that boat) and usually yuri anchors the first night close to the fort where waters are definitely calmer, so unless forecasts are totally fuc**d up we should be able to stick to our plans

Aren't they always? Look at this other forecast from UndergroundW, LOL

Thursday
North to northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Nearshore waters choppy. Isolated showers.
Friday
North to northeast winds near 15 knots. Seas around 2 feet. Nearshore waters a moderate chop. Isolated showers.

Forecasts usually are a total guess for what concerns rain chances, as long as I've seen they're pretty reliable at 72 hours for wind and seas conditions...anyway the different forecasts are saying the same thing, it's just one forecast looking at waters inside the reef or inshore, the other one looking at offshore so I won't be surprised if we'll find flat seas around the fort area, it's just the way the keys are shaped

Yeah, inside the reef is mostly calm no matter what, but we want out of there, LOL....Will keep on watching the forecast anyways. I like the torture. Since Saturday it's showing that the wind would subside, but maybe different. I hope we are able to fish even with 7 foot seas, just more Dramamine and :drunk:

I think we do have a chum master on board.

Good luck but I highly doubt he will sail with 7 ft seas in the forecast. You will get killed crossing Rebecca. Forecast may get a lot better though once this front decides to move out and take this depression with it.

4 to 7 on thursday and 3 to 5 on friday, what Herbert said, worst case we'll set sail on friday morning

Thanks man. I sure hope the forecast gets a lot better. My worry is that the front is too weak to push that Low system downwards or at least towards the East and out of our way. But we got to hope for the best. Too many dang trips have been canceled already. I heard even Yankee Capts canceled for this coming week. I wonder if it was just because they didn't have enough people, but doubt it since they had 18 and 15 is the minimum, but they rise the price up a bit I think.

the center of the low system is expected to be on the west coast around tampa-ft.myers by tomorrow night and definitely out of our way by wednesday, since then give it a day to the waters to calm down. The expected cold front is very weak and will push some northern winds in the 10-15 knots range, nothing we cannot deal with
