Dedicated to helping fisherman fish from Shore, Fishing Piers, Bridges, Beaches and Jetties

Today I got a late start, and missed the schools of red that frequent my area before 11am. I was hunting cruising fish on foot on SR3, and was having no luck at all locating anything worth casting at. I head north to my baby tarpon nursery, through some deep muddly water, and that's when it happens. A mullet swam up the leg of my shorts. To say that I freaked out is an understatement. I've never felt so violated in all my life. Thank god nobody was watching, but I'm sure my screams could be heard halfway to Titusville. The mullet freaked out just as bad as I did, luckily my shorts are baggy, and the nuggets didn't take much of a beating. I really didn't feel like fishing afterwards, and I've been shopping for skiffs on-line since I got home. Tomorrow I'm wearing pants.
