The second input area is the upload area


1. Click Browse Button
2. Locate Picture on your computer and double click
3.then click add the file

4. Click button to right that says Place Inline

You should now see the attachment code in your post area, you can now highlight and move where you want as far as up and down

every time i try to upload a picture it says its too big. then i try and resize it and it says its still too big

I would like to post a couple of pictures. I followed your instructions and did steps 1,2 and 3. Couldn't do step 4 because the "place inline" button doesn't appear. Sure would appreciate any help you can offer.

You have to upload it for the inline button to be there.

I uploaded the pictures as instructed but still no "inline" button. Since I'm new to the forum do I first have to be approved for pictures?

You should be able to upload.

Sorry to be a pain. The picture uploads but then shows on the very top of the reply page that the file name is invalid. I use a Mac. Could that be the problem?

What type of file are you uploading?

Check to make sure there is no spaces in name of file

Thanks guys. BoatlessFisherman, the files are JPG. SaltyDog, I had already tried what you suggested. But with Flickr instead of Photo Bucket. I'll give this another shot. Wish me luck.....

Success!!! Thanks BoatlessFisherman and SaltyDog for your patience in helping me figure out how to post pictures. I switched from Flickr to Photobucket and that was the ticket.
