I will be Upgrading 12/08/10
I will be upgrading the Forum, so the site will be down periodically through out the night, I will be starting around 7pm.

The upgrades will take all night but the system will be up and running at times while I make code changes and then I will take offline to upload those changes each time.

So you will still be able to read and post through out the night.

I will also be upgrading the php 4 to php 5 this may create problems as to how the scripts run, I am not expecting issues but none the less issues do happen.

Over the next few days post up issue you see so I can see what is going on.

I am still doing upgrades, this is why we have had some General Errors over the last 2 weeks.

I had to rewrite the upgrade script, because the original would not run properly on our server.

I am half done with the upgrade and I will attempt to finish the upgrade tonight.

Yes that was me, the update is done and I believe all is well.

We now are using
php 5.2
PHPBB 3.08

I may need to update this style.

If you see something strange let me know.

Under active topics the only things showing up are the global announcements?

All sessions and caches were cleared, so I would think it is basing active topics on the last 30minutes since I finished the upgrade so there is no data to judge what is active or not at this moment.

We will watch it and see if it changes over today and tomorrow.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention, if there is an issue we will find a fix.

Let me know if they deserve to be made a sticky, I would like to gather up the better help threads and organize them so they are easier to find.

The old threads from your input like bridge fishing 101 in the keys ect. these should be made into an easier section for access IMHO

Everyone cry's no fishing reports and now I see fishing reports but no one barely says Thanks, it helps if you Thank people for taking the time to write a fishing report.

So if we could try posting some thank you's, you may see more reports.

yea it is easy to assume people know you appreciate a report even if it is about bad days. they are just embarrassing to talk about when like me it happens alot.
like when on monday mornings people at work are asking what you caught over the weekend and you gotta tell them not much or nothing.

just show them a pic of your avatar and they will understand
