So I am up here this the weekend for a party, and today I went to my friends house. In the back was a shallow pond. I asked if they had a fishing rod and they brought out two spincasters 
. One had a inline spinner on it and I began to catch little bass on every cast. They I caught a little perch, my first one. Fun few minutes.
