visiting boston area

Taking a family trip that does not give me much time to fish...in middle of July...
but would like a fair shot at a bend in the rod I am dragging with me...
Any Help Please...

By July it will be very hot up here, night fishing is your best bet or very early am, don't bother to fish noon to 5 pm, especially on hot sunny days. There were a lot of schoolie stripers hanging out in boston harbor last year, maybe you will get a bluefish blitz if you are in the right place at the right time, and the charles river has largemouth bass, carp, white and channel cats. Depends on what you want, salt or fresh.
