Surflon Leader Wire

Just picked up some Surflon Leader Wire 26lb . Can tight some nice knots with this stuff. Got tired of the spanish taking my lures. Anyone have any experience with this stuff. The spanish have excellent eye sight but, I've been using it this week and they don't seem to care. Some of the guys on the pier looked at me like I was a noob but, I was hooking em up just as much and keeping my jigs.

Tied on some more today and was totally happy with the production even though they were small, had two bluerunners hangin on my gotcha which would never of happened with a mono liter. The only problem is that they shred the coating off and leave the wire which I don't know the long term effect of that. Also went to the bait shop and bought a hopkins for 4 bucks. I feel comfortable with the fact that I won't lose it the same day. I was also thinking about how many lures are lost daily due to bite offs and if the dolphins here eat those injured fish and swallow lures. That can't be good.
