At 5:27 and on.... The shark guy is spooling up the reel old school style...What is he saying? Does it have to do with him packing the line very tight doing it this way?
He is saying " if I wouldn't put the line on the reel with strong tension like this, when the line goes out against reel drag, the line would be quickly buried deep in spool. 100 kg tuna can pull out about 150 Meter of line with 10 ~ 15 Kg drag... So far I put about 400 meter... I am already so tired before i catch any tuna... "
One of funny scene shows that the shark guy was a little upset because a new guy didn't listen to him very well when he taught him how to tie braid and leader.
It reminds me of Kblue. Shark guys uses bimini twist on braid and make train knot (I never heard of it) and he melt the mono with lighter.
And later, the shark guy was given with a rod to fight with a big tuna (over 200 LB). The terminal tackle was prepared by someone else.
After an hour and 40 min fight, 200LB leader line cut off probably by rubbing tuna mouth... He said " I know this leader line and I would never use it for tuna fishing...Well, if I knew I had this brand of leader line, I would've shortened the fighting time because this won't last long"
