The Great Left Coast Pompanoist

On the Left Coast there was an old Cuban fisherman named Santiago. He loved baseball. And of all baseball teams he loved the Chicago Cubs most of all. He often spoke of his favorite player, the Great Zambrano. Baseball and fishing were Sanitago's life. On more than one occasion he told the story of how Zambrano loved to fish for Pompano in their native Cuba and how Zambrano caught sand fleas for both of them with a homemade flea rake, fashioned from the chrome front bumper of a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. It takes a powerful man to pull an eight foot wide flea rake through the sand and surf, but one good pull was all it took.

Santiago was too old a man to catch his own sand fleas, but there are advantages to becoming old and Santiago knew many Left Coast secrets entirely unknown to others. The Fishin_Kid has come across a sanctioned biography of the fishing theories of the late Santiago and despite having a good deal of knowledge himself, The Kid has already ascertained a few things that were heretofore unknown to him. The testing begins soon, but this time on both coasts.

Santiago you magnificent old man. I read your book!
