man like i said if you didnt have plans to go you should have made some
i got some super sweet deals like these 2 awesome spinning rods then i got crazy lucky and ran accross a hell of a deal on to super uber sweet spinning reels thats i so cant wait to fill with braid and hit the bridge

the rods i picked up for a hundred for the pair

the reel i had to shell out a ouple bucks like 50 a piece but i think i got a stellar deal little bit of boat rash but they are soooo smooth

Them shakespeare reels are as good as it gets! You have a good eye for the finer things in life & got the limited edition alpha version that's worth its weight in gold at $50.00...DAMN!!! Did they throw in the "lovers" bag in for free? Nice work man- :toast:

I think ya got screwed on those beat up reels son. I've got some better crap than that I can dig up to sell you. No rods with pink wrap but lots of junk.

Richard, these are limited edition alpha version made in the USA. If someone was still here he will appreciate thsee reel knowing the history and their true value. Did you know this reel was the first twin drag system. Many think accurate started it but it was Shakespeare/alpha. Penn did it way before accurate but accurate is a marketing juggernaut in that area
