one that has given a good amount of thought to buying a peace of land in the middel of nowhere an doing the whole off grid lifestyle thing
it sounds pretty good with the solars panels an the whole wind generator thing sounds pretty good

think about no more bills at the end of the month not haveing to worrie about nothing really except your own food an such but come on how big of a deal is that really you know

I wouldn't want to live entire off the grid. But, I have given thought to buying a few acres in the middle of the state, around Okeechobee, to be able to use for hunting and living the country life, and if the crap really hit the fan for some reason, to be able to get the hell out of South Florida and go there . There is definitely something to be said about being able to be self-sustainable. When I have kids, I want them to experience country life, not just suburbia and strip malls.

My in-laws live on a 200 acre farm in PA, if they needed to be off the grid, they could. Woods full of deer and other game, and they have about a 5 acre vegetable garden and orchard, and an entire cellar full of canned vegetables, etc. I love going up there, such a nice change of pace.

thats what im talking about right there middel of nowhere closest neighbor is like a mile maybe a lil further away
like thats the dream ive had for a lil over a year now but chit man farmland is so freaking exspensive

I'd love to be able to. My only concern would be what happens if you have a severe medical emergency, i.e. get bit by a venomous snake, deep gash wound, etc......you're toast.

For a family not sure but if I would have a chance like that and my wife would be willing to do that which is the most important to me I would do that in a heart beat.

ive thought about that to like geting a barge an just set up shop kinda of loved that idea lil more then leaveing the country but you still have to deal with all the bs you know like you will have to go through probaly reg inspections from the local leo just a bunch
