Yeah. Like I'm gonna believe you can lose a rod, get it back and still catch a permit. Mine usually take off to china and don't stop.

Chased a 4ft Lemon shark with the boat dragging one of my combos around the flats for an hour one time. I was finally able to retrieve both the combo and the shark. Miracles can happen sometimes.

Yup lol, I find out bcause I text him in da morning to see if I could pick my rain gear I forgot on last fishing trip ,so we were texting while it was happening I went crazy I go do this ,do that ,don't waste time ,he was telling me no its too late I go noooooo lol funny chit bro ..

Sometimes when something really amazing happens to me fishing it's so special that I only share the tale with a few close friends. The guys that really know me and because of that can appreciate the unique adventure. Everybody has those friends.

Line was tangle and the permit was running full speed..he lost grip of the rod when the permit was running and the rod went swimming
