spinning rod for boat trips.

sometimes i just dnt wanna go conventional.... and it would be nice to have a spinning setup to match my bottom conventional setup....

i have an old school thunnus the big one 10000 or more? not sure have to check back home... but want a rod that can duke it out with large fish from a boat.... probably 80 lb braid ill use on it..

almost forgot... inexpensive..... im not that well off yet.

Ugly stick jigging rod. Buy it online from dicks. Look around online and you can usually get 10-20% off and free shipping. Will run you 40-50 bucks.

from my search i was think a tiger lite... i see em for 65 or so... but i dunno how heavy they make jigging rods.. wouldnt mind tryin some jigging thats for sure

I've got a custom rod I never use that should work no issues. Rain Shadow blank and can handle amberjacks but still light. Looking for $100 for it.

what rod is dude on the boat using holy crap..... it was a twig.

It's both. Will give you the specs tomorrow. I've jigged with it as well as bottom fished. I had a Stella 10k on it as well as an 18k. Ripped it a 50 lb aj and 30 lb tuna no issues. It was built as a cob is live bait boat rod but works for much more

Rod is 6 ft probably rated 30-50 lb. extra long fore grip. Great tod just one I don't use

Right on i should have cash after work this weekend.. im gonna be slappin 80lb braid on this setup
