Agree with Nelson, I just try a different approach From what I'd normally do, and as many us say it's better than being at work dude.

Usually though, I'll be optimistic and realize that hopefully there will be a change in the weather that will pick things up in the water, whether it may be rain, clouds, tide change etc.

I'd say it depends on where I am, where it's blowing from, and what I'm trying to do. Sometimes it's a big help, and other times a big pain.

I've had my best snook nights on the worst possible wind/wave conditions. I don't like to fish the bottom on the surf when it's way blown out but like to walk the beach with artis when it's windy. Also seen epic mackerel days when very windy on the piers. So you just have to target fish when windy.

I think the shrimp run better with a decent wind, and the tarpon and big snapper can get a little less leader shy.

Fish the wind, even in fresh water I was always taught to fish the wind. Best fishing I've ever seen was usually in almost unfishable conditions. Eagle Lake Canada, we went 3 day's without a fish. End of the 3rd day, a south wind came and by morning it was blowing 15 to 20. Caught 19 Musky between 7 of us before noon. Almost all were caught on the windward side of the lake.
Been out for sails a few times here. all but one day was calm and very few fish hooked none landed. Went with Scotty and Cody in like 6' seas went 5 fo 7 on sails. I never caught much from any pier in calm wheather. Add the right wind, and it usually seems to light right up. Sometimes nothing works so it's not carved in stone.
Nice Boat! Now get it outa my driveway!
