Keep from scratching your rods up
I found away to keep rods from getting scratched up bridge fishing. I went to a local carpet shop and got some scraps from a new install. I cut them into 12x24 in. pieces. I put them over the top of the bridge hang more on the inside and set my rods up on them. Keeps them clean and easy to know what rods are yours in a heavy fished place. I found the carpet grips pretty well on the rough concrete surface.

Plz put back the small ones.

I've used it before but it also interferes with the flex of the rod.

What a bunch of Salt Life wearing googs. Just put some wear and tear on the rods princess. Maybe just man up and don't let your rod hit the bridge while fighting the fish.
Dreaming the dream that one day I can be as good as some of the boatless pros and catch some 12 inch mangrove snapper.

Got to keep my ugly sticks looking new. Still have the plastic cover to keep the foam from getting fish juice on them and the zip tie on the reel seat. Top money when I sell $$$$

It hurts me when I see people who leave the plastic on the handle and zip ties the reel to the rod.

Listen, Jarred....this is how I roll. Inside the plastic there is a free offer for a jacket. That's a bonus to anyone who buys the rod.
Who wants fish slime on the foam? Anyone? No!!! That zip tie is for a peace of mind knowing that my reel won't go flying if the real seat malfunctions.
