Don't have any places in Miami.Any where with good tidal flow and live bottom. If you are looking for bait a grassy bottom ie Biscayne Bay is good, for eating size try local canals esp the ones down in Homestead along the stretch to the Keys. Car Sound Rd is another good spot but crowded at times. Areas around cleaning stations or charter boats are good as well if they allow you to fish there.

if you wanna catch blue crabs to eat go to east greynolds park on us1 and 163rd st next to the strip club there, i think it's solid gold, there's a damm, on the freshwater side you can catch huge crabs that look like lobsters!!!!! i used to throw out chicken on a rope and when i would see the rope walking out i would bring it in slowly and with a net i would scoop them up if that doesn't work you can probably catch CRABS next door at the strip club ...good luck
Nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught

Hit the west side of the dams right before the summer rains start and the dams start opening and the jumbos will be mating with the smaller females and all you need is a dip net. A certain private spillway a little south of there can be loaded to the max. Just have to worry about the private police department throwing you out or your car being towed.

ill share a few spots ive had luck at. dixie hwy just north of hillsboro there is a bridge, n there is also a park you can tie them to to boat dock, or columns off the bridge. a lil success there. also . dania beach on the west side of a1a. in the parks south of the loop that turn dania bch into a1a.alot of success there . tried fishing n the crabs kept take the bait. seriously pulled my trap up repeatedly with three or more. mostly female so there has to be many there. oh yeah ..bait i found best . bonita.
